These are my favorite baby spoons. The heads are soft and rubbery, and soft on our baby's gums. They are nice and concave and hold the perfect amount of food for a new eater. The handles are nice and ergonomic for parents.

Given all the high reviews, I bought these spoons along with the Munchkin ones, thinking these would be so much better. Our little one doesn't like these at all. The rubber part over the spoon isn't smooth, it's a little bumpy, and she hates the texture. From my perspective, the spoon is way too shallow to get any reasonable amount of foot into/onto it. I'm really bummed we bought these. My advice is to try the Munchkin ones first (they're great!).

I have the Slim & Light steamer.(LOVE IT!!)It does an excellent job of getting the floors squeaky clean! These pads are the same as the ones that came with the steamer. It would be really helpful if the vendors would either, put a picture of the steamer, or the product# of the steamer that these work with. Note these are for the Haan Slim & Light floor steamer (SI-35). Apparently, there are different sizes of pads for different Haan steamers. I'm pleased with these. As it states, there are four in a packet. They do pick up the dirt well. I find I can get through the hard floors in my 1-BR apartment with a pad or two.

They are suggested to be soaked for 1-2 hours in laundry detergent and handwash them (reality for me is that's just not gonna happen); however, you can use the delicate/light cycle on your machine washer. Never use fabric softener on these or anything else microfiber or your bathroom towels because it'll decrease absorbency. You're also supposed to "dry pads indoors by natural ventilation." Again, for me, natural is throwing something in the dryer. Maybe I'll switch off the heat if I remember. A flyer that comes with the product states that machine washing may shorten the lifespan, so you might want to take that into account if you're a typical human with a life and don't have time for soaking, handwashing and air drying.

These are good and do the job well. I was in my grocery store today and noted a different product's permanent microfiber pad that used the same attachment system and was about the same size, so you may want to do some product comparison and see if a different brand will meet your needs if they seem too pricey to you.

The coffee maker is excellent, BUT. There are already many reviews with many views so I will not duplicate anything. But there is one real negative. If you think you are going to get a little less than a liter of coffee from this shatter-proof liter cylinder, then this 8-cup maker may surprise you. First, you have to leave at least an inch at the top of the cylinder without water; second, the coffee soaks up a lot of water, I believe more than a brew station device. After all you are pressing down with a plunger to get the water to press into and to extract the essence from the beans; that leaves a lot of water in the grinds at the bottom. When you finish the brew expect to be down by at least one 8 ounce mug or even ten ounces from the water added to the cylinder. 8-cup is 8 four ounce cups but you are not going to get close to that. But (once again that word) you will get delicious coffee if you use real premium beans.

Received a St@rbucks version as a gift when I started a new job where I use the press.

Put the coffee ground in first then pour in hot water then let it sit, just like making tea.
After ~4-5 minutes, use the press, pour and enjoy.
If you press first before letting it sit, then the coffee grounds won't have the chance to be "cooked properly" and you won't get the full taste of the coffee. Some of the taste comes from the oil from the coffee ground.

Also, a courser grind makes the coffee grounds slightly bigger whereas a finer grind makes it smaller. The larger size won't clog up the filter and won't become part of the coffee as the finer grind will go through the filter and become sludge at the bottom of the jar and in your cup.
To each their own on which grind setting to use.

You should be careful of the glass jar since it is fragile!
Mine broke within 2 months. No cracks, just broke as I lifted the press out and cut myself with the shards early in the morning!
It was cheaper to buy a new press than a replacement jar since it cost about the same.

Bodum makes different models of the same sizes for different stores. I noticed that St@rbucks have a good black plastic 8 cup casing model with glass jar that is not available anywhere else as it has side walls to support the jar. The model here is typically sold in various stores but there's no support to the sides of the jar. You'll need to buy the metal version instead which cost more.

It's misleading and confusing since many models, like the 8 cup version, is essentially the same (same spout glass jar) except for the outer design casing. Why design a different casing with the same size jar with a different price?! Oh yeah.. money >:(

Lastly, this press is also good for making tea :)

The description says 8 cups but that translates to 32oz so take note! For me this is not an issue since I don't drink coffee and bought this for my MIL to use when she visits. My sister has tried several French Presses and says Bodum (she has the glass one and bought the metal for my mother) is the best.

I upgraded from the 16/32 model. Esentially this is the same sander only bigger. The one feature they added that is nice is the sandsmart spped control. Instead of the motor shutting off and having to be reset like on the 16/32, this machine will automatically slow the conveyor belt down if you try to take too much off at one time.
Items were shipped in two seperate boxes and shipping company lost the bigger of the two boxes but eventually all arrived.
Very easy to assemble- just make sure you have a good dust collection system.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and am very pleased. I just got the sander with no stand or in/outfeed tables.
Changing belts is pretty simple once you get the hang of attaching it at the motor end. A word or advice - use a small mirror to see exactly what you are dealing with. Once you do that it is very simple.
This unit is all cast iron and therefor very heavy. The dust cover is plastic, and for it's purpose it is adequate.

Received the kit and installed the battery today. This part of my review will be only on the kit and installation of the battery since I have not had time to do a real duration test of it. Therefore, this portion of my review will not cover the life of the battery.

The kit came with two screw drivers: a Philips head and a star head. The screws on my 750 were star-head, so there must be some out there with Philips head ones.

The DVD that came with the kit is adequate and basic but could have covered a few additional issues, hence the four star rating. The first was the difficulty of getting the back off the GPS unit. The kit comes with a plastic pry tool that you use to remove the back after removing the screws; however, the back on mine was a lot more difficult to remove than the one in the video. After about four or five tries, it finally yielded and came off. Removing the actual battery was also a lot more difficult than shown in the DVD because of the double-sided tape holding it in. The DVD demo showed the old battery merely falling out. Some reviewers remarked that there was no mention of double-sided tape being required for the new battery [the piece on the old battery would not come off it] because it would rattle around inside the GPS without it. Since the tape I had would have been very difficult to remove if it prevented the back from being replaced, I decided to try it without the tape first. As it turns out, I didn't need the tape at all; the new battery fit snugly in. Therefore, I recommend trying it without the tape first.

The new battery came about two-thirds already charged, and I re-charged it for about two hours to the four-bar level. I then ran a two-hour simulated trip, and it was back to about two-thirds. At the time of this writing, it has been on for about two hours and forty-five minutes and is down to about half charged.

I fully charged the battery [overnight] and ran a 4-1/2 hour simulated trip. At the end, there was still some charge left so I left it on. It lasted an additional 20 minutes for a total of 4 hours 50 min.

If you're in a trade long enough you start getting excited when new, well thought out and engineered tools appear. A while back, the JLC reviewed the Bostitch StrapShot metal connector nailer. After reading the review I knew that there would be a job in my future that would be THE job that would be the perfect excuse to purchase this nailer and put it to use.

Oh Baby!! Where have you been all my life! During the age of dinosaurs we used to beat in teco nails with rocks. That was kind of hard on the rocks and our fingers. Then during the middle ages we would beat in those blasted nails with our 24 oz. serrated face framing hammers. Did you ever notice how the holes in the metal connectors were always just a little bit tinier than the loose (not collated) teco nails? If you didn't hit that frickin' nail with just the right amount of blast the hammer would home in on the nearest thumb and index finger - usually yours - and scrape off a nice thick layer of skin.
Then came the last decade of the 20th century. Homo Constructus Almosterectus, evolved to the point where we actually could nail those pesky metal hangers with our pneumatic framing nailers. The only thing you had to worry about was placing the tip of the nailer near the hole the nail was meant to go into. For those who had difficulty achieving this, numerous jokes involving hair were coined.

Along came the Bostitch MCN-150 StrapShot nailer. If there were a Nobel prize for innovative tool development, I would nominate the boys at Bostitch. It fits in tight joist spaces, it actually uses the nail point to locate the point of aim and after 1 week of daily usage, installing many hundreds of Simpson connectors, I can honestly say we had not one misfire.
If you're in the building business and your crews aren't using this nailer chances are they're not making you any money either. The only complaint I have is the local lack of nails for this gun. Until they become available I'll just keep on ordering them up on Amazon.

I'm a full time contractor, and build many'a deck.. I've used other larger TECO guns and have shot thousands upon thousands of teco nails. This MCN-150 is smaller, lighter and just as fast as the larger ones, yet it fits where they don't. It doesn't pack quite as much punch, so sometimes you have to finish setting the nail in really hard wood, but for the price, the convenience of it's size and weight, I'm more than satisfied with it's performance - and with a 7 yr warranty to boot. The only downside, is it doesn't feed generic teco nails all too well, the magazine has a tighter tolerance for the strip to slide freely, so you have to help the feeder along after each shot. All in all, 2 thumbs up!

The mixer attachment pack worked perfectly on my kitchen aid. The package was shipped promptly and in retail packaging. I used the grinder to process vegetables from the garden.

I'm very pleased with this attachment pack. I have the 5 qt. Pro mixer with the bowl lift. I used the slicer/shredder attachment to slice onions and squash last night, and I liked how easy it is to assemble and use. I think KitchenAid builds nice, sturdy mixers and attachments. One of the things I like is the square hole molded into the body of the attachment that allows the blade to be tightend or loosened without having to use wrenches or screwdrivers. It's very easy to change the slicing/shredding cones. The plastic pusher could swing open a little wider, but that would probably allow too large pieces of food to be placed in the hopper. Using the mixer for slicing veggies is much quieter than using the food processor I had before. I haven't tried it on grinding meat yet, but will probably use it for that after Thanksgiving and update this review soon after. One of the reasons I bought this attachment is to grind up left-over cooked chicken and turkey for salad so I didn't have to use a hand grinder anymore. The parts of this attachment are easier to clean than my old food processor blades and parts, too. Overall, I'm very happy with this attachment pack so far.

I love this little thing! I find it best for salad dressings, but I'm also reaching for it a lot more than my other whisks now. For sauces on the stove in a shallow saucepan, it gets right down into the liquid very nicely. Definitely worth having.

Just the other day Apple replaced my computer that was 18 months old due to hassle that occured in the past three months. I am so happy that I was clever enough to take out Apple Care as it saved me buying a new computer and a lot of stress.

If you spend a lot of money on a Mac Book Pro spend these extra few hundred too if you prefer a relaxed life. Portables are fragile machines that need extra care.

Moonlight Slumber CU9000 Review by Becca

Bought this pillow with some hesitation because it was $100.00 but it came with a 1 year warranty, so I went ahead and made the purchase. I loved it, until, after being laundered it had shrunk by almost 2 feet!!!!! It says to "launder in commercial front load washing machine. Use warm water on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Dry in large commercial dryer on warm setting" which is how it was done. When I contacted Moonlight Slumber, (the manufacturer) the customer service rep. said that she would take care of it but had to check something. The next thing I know, the owner was on the phone blaming me, then the laundromat, and everything else he could think of, for the shrinking but insisted it wasn't his problem. Why offer a warranty if there is no intention of supporting it? I think they figure it will only be used for 9 months so there shouldn't be a problem but I have MS and used it longer. It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had plus I now have a worthless $100.00 pillow!

I got that pillow because of all the great reviews, I got it early in my pregnancy, my son is now 5 months and I feel comfortable reviewing it after all the use.

This review is very subjective, so a little bit about me
I am 5'6" and more on the chubby side.
and I personally like the feel of feather and the outside fabric being cold and crisp when going to bed

My opinion:
I don't think it's that comfortable, It's too thick at the head, not thick enough at the knee, it gets too warm at night and the inside feel like a synthetic cheap (but thick) pillow , So I used it most of the time backward but even there it was kind of too much in the way (poor hubby). After delivery I tried it as a nursing pillow (too big, hard to setup to be comfortable, and I am now trying to use it as a support to help my son stay in the sitting position (takes a huge amount of space)

If I would do it again...
I would get a cheaper L shaped pregnancy pillow and a Boppy (Breastfeeding and sitting up support)

I bought this pillow to help alleviate my back pain from a motorcycle accident. This pillow is AMAZING! It supports my back so I can get into pretty much any position comfortably, and I sleep through the night now. I also like the way the U shape wraps around me and keeps me from rolling onto my stomach, which causes severe lower back pain. Keep in mind that it's large and wraps around you, so cuddling with your Significant Other is not really an option.
I am very happy with my purchase! My sister is 7 months pregnant and I am getting her one of these pillows, since the maternity pillow that she has is not helping her AT ALL.
I have not had any problems with the filler or the pillow going flat in the 2 years that I have had this pillow. The pillow seems pricey, but it's well worth the money if you want a quality product that will help you sleep.
